This Privacy Policy explains how MeowBay handles information when you visit meowbay.com, contact us, use an interactive tool, or follow an external link.
Information that may be processed
- Technical and security data: our hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may process IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and referring URLs to deliver and protect the site.
- Analytics data: where analytics is enabled, aggregated or pseudonymous usage information may be processed to understand visits, navigation, performance, and content usefulness.
- Information you send: if you email us, we receive the address and information included in your message.
- Affiliate-click records: MeowBay may store aggregate outbound-click records containing a product ID, selected market, placement label, referring WordPress post ID, and timestamp. These records do not intentionally include IP addresses, user agents, email addresses, or quiz answers.
Cookies and local storage
MeowBay and its service providers may use cookies or similar storage for essential site functions, security, preferences, analytics, consent management, and—if activated—advertising. A visitor-selected shopping market may be stored in a first-party functional cookie named mbm_market for up to one year.
The indoor-cat product finder is designed to evaluate answers in the visitor’s browser. MeowBay does not intentionally store the answers entered into that finder.

Display advertising and consent
If display advertising such as Google AdSense is activated, advertising providers may use cookies, identifiers, and interaction data to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads. Where required for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, MeowBay will use a Google-certified consent management platform before requesting consent-dependent advertising or analytics storage.

MeowBay is a general-audience website for cat owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13.
