What we evaluate
The decision factors depend on the category. For automatic feeders, for example, we may compare food compatibility, real portion range, scheduling, backup power, cleaning, multi-cat access, app requirements, warranty, and local support. We explain why a factor matters and identify the households for which a limitation may be important.
We avoid decorative scores and unsupported superlatives. A product is not automatically the best choice for every cat simply because it has more features or a higher price.
Health and nutrition boundaries
Health-sensitive information is general and educational. We prioritize veterinary schools, professional bodies, regulators, peer-reviewed research, and current product labels where appropriate.
