Why Granary 2 is the core recommendation
PETLIBRO describes gram-level bowl-scale records for dispensed, eaten and remaining food. These are manufacturer-reported capabilities, not independently measured MeowBay accuracy. These records can help you notice food leaving the bowl, but do not independently prove swallowing or which cat consumed it. Spillage and shared access need observation. The 5 L tank, scheduled mode, refill mode and rechargeable backup support everyday use.
When Vision Duo earns its price
Vision Duo is useful when two bowls need independent intake records and video helps identify which cat approached. It can improve visibility, but it is not the right answer for serious food stealing or different diets because recognition does not create a physical barrier.

Ownership trade-offs
- All current Granary 2 models are for dry kibble in the documented 2–15 mm range.
